The term Digital Signage circumscribes the use of digital media contents at systems of advertising and information, p.e eletronic signs posters, elektronic signs, product advertisment ('instore marketing'), digital door plates or large-screen projections. In the majority of cases the digital media contens can be customised very quick, cheap and target-oriented.
Content describes the complete media files, which are shown on a screen. The content can be made up of text or audio-files, pictures or videos.
The abbrevation POS stands for "Point Of Sale". The place in a shop or supermarket where a product is sold.
